A large village on the eastern stretch of the A272, 3 miles from Uckfield, 6 from Heathfield. Railway station on the Uckfield-Victoria line. Two Local Rider buses operate into Uckfield Monday-Saturday, 4 return Uckfield-Buxted, this discrepancy unexplained as yet.
